Volkswagen camper vans date back to the 50s. From the off people bought into the concept of autonomous holidays out in the open. Up first came the Volkswagen T1 “THE SPLIT” followed by the famous T2 “Bay The Way” and its unforgettable design. The T3 kept the renowned design and in 1991 came the famous T4 Transporter with engines placed at the front. Bigger more comfortable and robust than their predecessors it revolutionised modern caravanning of the 90s. Families, couples everyone fell for these vans looking for an authentic holiday.
